Avondale Comicon:

The Avondale Anime & Comicon, is the newest convention coming to Auburn Hills and South East Michigan. This new NON PROFIT con promises not only to bring you some of the best local artists and crafters, but amazing toy, comic, and anime vendors!! All proceeds go straight back to school to fund and make possible all sorts of student activities and programs.

Anime Magic:

​

Anime Magic! is an anime and Japanese culture convention. We are run by a board of professionals who are long time anime fans and convention goers. We strive to create a fun, safe, and memorable convention experience for attendees of all ages by bringing some "magic" to our event that we feel some modern conventions currently lack Our three day convention hosts a wide variety of activities ranging from anime and Japanese culture interest panels, live concerts, and special industry guests, to themed photography booths, anime viewing rooms, cosplay meet ups, and much much more!

Anime Magic! provides a family friendly, educational, and entertaining weekend both for experienced con-goers and new fans looking to enter the magical world of anime.

Alma Con:

AlmaCon is a anime and gaming convention hosted by the Alma College Otaku and Gamers (ACOG)! ACOG is a non-profit organization with official campus recognition that is dedicated to the education, enrichment, and exhibition of Japanese culture through Japanese animation, i.e. “anime,” and Japanese comics, i.e. “manga,” as well as the promotion of community participation, involvement, and bonding through role-play gaming, i.e. “Dungeons and Dragons®,” and video gaming.

Conjanai:

​

Con Ja Nai is a FREE “not a con(vention),” hosted by Animania, the Japanese Animation Film Society at the University of Michigan. Con Ja Nai has a few staples that make it worth coming to. Join them for Maid cafe, panels, raffle, game shows (Anime Jeopardy, Name That Tune), cosplay, all the anime you can watch, and more!
